Terriana is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA), who is passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and relatable environment where young people feel comfortable being themselves, expressing their emotions, and developing the skills they need to thrive. Terriana believes that every child and adolescent deserves a space where they can express themselves without judgment and recognize the strengths they already possess. With a warm, genuine, and encouraging approach, she partners with young people and their families to promote emotional growth, healthier relationships, increased confidence, and lasting positive change.
Her experience include children and adolescents who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, emotional regulation difficulties, behavioral concerns, family or peer conflict, trauma, school-related challenges, and major life transitions. She understands that young people do not always have the words to explain how they feel, so she strives to meet each client where they are and help them feel seen, heard, and understood.
She uses evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Person-Centered Therapy, Terriana helps clients better understand their emotions, recognize unhelpful patterns, strengthen their coping skills, build confidence, and develop healthier ways to manage life's challenges. She also incorporates creative, play-informed, mindfulness, and strengths-based techniques to make therapy engaging and appropriate for each client's age and individual needs.
“Sometimes growth starts with simply having a safe space to be yourself. You already have the strength within you—I’m here to help you discover it.”– Terriana
